Product Details
This Whiteline Front Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 1974-1977 Buick Regal. This part is for the front of the vehicle. The kit contains 8 shell bushings, 8 tubes, and grease. The chassis code on the listing is A-Body. Part number W56430.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Installation is rated difficult, with about 3 hours of work listed. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground. Other Whiteline parts we list for the Regal: Ball Joint Boot Kit.
Features
- Easy to fit: Designed for an easy install with ordinary shop equipment.
- Grease: Supplied with molybdenum disulfide grease for extended service life.
- Bushing compound: The elastomer formulation is chosen to shrug off oil, grease, ozone, and the elements.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane bushings flex far less than rubber ones.
- Install guide: Whiteline packs an install guide with it.
- Self-lubricating: The bushing carries its own grease supply in internal reservoirs, so it keeps moving freely.
