This Whiteline Front Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 1974-1975 Chevrolet Bel Air. In the box: 8 shell bushings, 8 tubes, and grease. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Chassis code: B-Body. Whiteline part number: W56430.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
