Product Details
This Whiteline Front Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 1973-1977 Buick Century. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Whiteline part number: W56430. You receive 8 shell bushings, 8 tubes, and grease. Chassis code: A-Body.
Bushings work out of sight, but they decide how well a suspension holds its geometry. A soft or tired control arm bushing allows play that shows up as vague steering, a wandering feel under braking, or a clunk over bumps. Fitting a firmer one takes that slack out. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Installation is rated difficult, with about 3 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. To go with it on the Century, see Ball Joint Boot Kit and Transmission Mount Bushing Kit.
Features
- Self-lubricating: Internal grease reservoirs keep the bushing lubricated as it works.
- Grease: Moly grease is supplied to prolong the life of the parts.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane bushings flex far less than rubber ones.
- Bushing compound: Oil, grease, ozone, and weather do not break down the synthetic elastomer used in the bushings.
- Install guide: Whiteline packs an install guide with it.
- Easy to fit: Made with the installer in mind, so it goes in without special equipment.
