This Whiteline Front Sway Bar Link fits the 2001-2012 Ford Escape (CD2). Whiteline's note for this fit: Adjustable Extra Heavy Duty. Position: front. In the box: 2 links. The part number is KLC140-295.

A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the front sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. Its adjustable body lets you set the length with the car on the ground, so the bar is not twisted against its own mounts before the car even moves.

Expect a moderate job of about 1 hour. A wheel alignment is not required. To go with it on the Escape, see 12mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, Rear Sway Bar Link, and Front Sway Bar Mount Bushing.
