This Whiteline Rear Sway Bar Link Bushing (28.5mm OD) fits the 1986-1988 Pontiac Sunbird. Whiteline part number: W21014. You receive 8 bushings. Position: rear.
A sway bar link has a bushing at each end where it connects to the bar and the suspension, and those bushings let the link pivot. When they are soft or worn, the bar takes up slack before it begins resisting body roll, which feels like a delay in turn-in and shows up as clunking. Replacing them restores a firm connection. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
