This Whiteline Front Sway Bar Link Assembly fits the 2010-2016 Mercedes-Benz E550 E-Class (W212). Whiteline's note for this fit: Adjustable extra heavy duty. In the box: 2 links. Part number KLC180-335. It goes on the front of the vehicle.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the front sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. A body that adjusts in length means the link can be matched to the car instead of the other way around, and the bar starts from a neutral position.
Installation is rated moderate, with about 1 hour of work listed. It does not require a wheel alignment.
