Product Details
This Whiteline Front Sway Bar Link Assembly fits the 2008-2009 Mercedes-Benz C280 C-Class. You receive 2 links. Order it as part number KLC180-335. It is listed for the W204 chassis. Position: front. Whiteline's note for this fit: Adjustable extra heavy duty.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the front sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. A body that adjusts in length means the link can be matched to the car instead of the other way around, and the bar starts from a neutral position.
Installation is rated moderate, with about 1 hour of work listed. A wheel alignment is not required. To go with it on the C280 C-Class, see Rear Sway Bar Link.
Features
- Anodized alloy: The alloy is anodized, adding a durable protective layer.
- Ball joints: Heavy duty steel ball joint ends pivot freely through a wide range, which helps fitment.
- Preload-free setup: The link can be set to length on the vehicle to remove bar preload.
- Construction: High-strength alloy gives the strength needed without much weight.
- Rigid design: Taking the flex out of the connection makes the car react faster to steering input.
- Install guide: Whiteline packs an install guide with it.
