This Whiteline Front Strut Rod to Chassis Bushing Kit fits the 1970-1974 Plymouth Barracuda. The kit contains 4 bushings, 2 tubes, and grease. Chassis code: E-Body. Part number W56426. This part is for the front of the vehicle.
Braking pushes the wheel rearward, and that load goes through the strut rod and its bushings. Rubber that has compressed lets the control arm move more than it should, so a firmer bushing keeps the arm located under braking. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
