Product Details

This Whiteline Front Strut Mount Bushing (Coilovers Only) fits the 2014-2017 Chevrolet SS Base. Whiteline part number: W42565S. Placement: front. The chassis code on the listing is Zeta. Trim named on the listing: Base. Included: 2 strut mounts.

The strut top mount joins the upper end of the strut to the body, and the bushing in it cushions the connection while letting the strut turn with the wheel. When it fails, the front end creaks over speed humps and driveways, and the strut can move out of position. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.

Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 2 hours. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground. Other Whiteline parts we list for the Chevrolet SS: Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, and 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts.

Features

  • Install guide: Written install instructions are included with the part.
  • Bushing compound: A synthetic elastomer compound resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering.
  • Corrosion protection: Rust protection comes from plating on the metal parts.
