Product Details
For the 1994-1998 Toyota Supra Base, Twin Turbo, Whiteline makes the Front Steering Rack And Pinion Mount Bushing. Order it as part number W13384. Included: 4 bushings, 2 tubes, and 4 washers. The chassis code on the listing is A80. Position: front. Trims named on the listing: Base and Twin Turbo.
Wide tires, lower profiles, and sharper alignment settings load the steering rack harder than the original design expected, and the rubber bushings holding it in place are not always up to the extra work. Firmer mounts hold the rack more steadily, so steering input reaches the wheels with less lost motion.
Installation is rated moderate, with about 2 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. Other Whiteline parts we list for the Supra: Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit, and Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front Bushing.
Features
- Bushing compound: The elastomer formulation is chosen to shrug off oil, grease, ozone, and the elements.
- Self-lubricating: The bushing carries its own grease supply in internal reservoirs, so it keeps moving freely.
- Bushing material: The bushing material is polyurethane, a firmer choice than rubber.
- Corrosion protection: A protective plating covers the metal components to guard against corrosion.
- Grease: Supplied with molybdenum disulfide grease for extended service life.
