Product Details

Made to fit the 2015-2016 Audi A3 (8V), the Front Lower Outer Camber Adjustable Roll Center Correcting Performance Ball Joint Kit from Whiteline. The kit contains 2 ball joints. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Whiteline part number: KCA472.

The lower ball joint is the pivot between the control arm and the steering knuckle, and the wheel moves up and down and turns on it. When it wears, it develops play that shows up as clunks, wandering steering, and uneven tire wear. A new joint takes up that slack. The camber adjustability in the name means the joint lets an alignment shop move the camber setting, which a standard joint cannot. The roll center correcting design is aimed at lowered cars, where the stock geometry no longer sits in range.

Installation is rated moderate, with about 2 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. Application note: Reduces roll/bump steer: essential for lowered cars. Brake rotor clearance is reduced: attention required when fitting with brake upgrades.
