Product Details

Fitted to the 2012-2013 BMW 128i 1 Series: the Whiteline Front Lower Radius Arm Bushing. Part number KCA473. Chassis code: E82/E88. In the box: 2 bushings, 2 tubes, adjusting tool, an install guide, and grease. Position: front. Application note: Adds +/- 0.5 degrees Caster. Does not Suit xDrive Models.

A standard bushing only restores what the factory built. This one is designed to change the geometry, adding positive caster and changing front anti-dive behavior, in addition to resisting the deflection that soft rubber allows.

Whiteline rates the install as difficult and lists about 3 hours. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground. To go with it on the 128i 1 Series, see Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, Heavy Duty 20mm Rear Sway Bar, and Rear Sway Bar Link.

Features

  • Corrosion protection: Metal parts are plated to resist rust over the long term.
  • Bushing material: The bushing material is polyurethane, a firmer choice than rubber.
  • Alignment adjustment: Adds adjustment so the alignment can be optimized.
  • Grease: Moly grease is supplied to prolong the life of the parts.
  • Compliance voids: Molded voids give the bushing room to flex where it needs to.
  • Self-lubricating: Built-in grease reservoirs provide continual lubrication and reduce friction.
