This Whiteline Front Lower Shock Absorber Bushing Kit fits the 1962-1969 Jeep Gladiator. It is listed for the SJ chassis. The kit contains 4 bushings. Whiteline part number: W31469. It goes on the front of the vehicle.
The connection between the shock and the control arm or body is only as good as the bushing in it. Worn bushings add play, so a firmer replacement helps the shock do its work. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Whiteline rates the install as easy and lists about 1 hour. An alignment is required after installation.
