This Whiteline Front Lower Inner Forward Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 2002-2006 Acura RSX (DC5). Part number W53410. Whiteline's note for this fit: Standard replacement. In the box: 2 shell bushings and an install guide. It goes on the front of the vehicle.
A control arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
