This Whiteline Front Gearbox Crossmember Pad Bushing fits the 2009-2013 Subaru Forester X Limited, X Premium. Whiteline's note for this fit: Faster shift response: suits manual gearbox. Whiteline part number: KDT901. The kit contains 4 bushings, an install guide, and grease. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Trims named on the listing: X Limited and X Premium.
Every shift and every throttle change sends torque through the gearbox, and the mount decides how far it can move. Reducing that movement keeps the shifter and driveline more consistent and takes some of the slop out of the car's response. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
