Product Details

The Whiteline Front Engine Mount fits the 2008 Audi TT Quattro S Line. Order it as part number KDT968. Placement: front. The kit contains 1 insert bushing, 2 washers, an install guide, and grease. Trim named on the listing: Quattro S Line. Chassis code: 8J. Application note: Inserts: check voiding of OEM bushings first, installs into voiding of original bushings.

An engine moves on its mounts every time the throttle opens or closes. The less it can move, the more directly the power goes to the wheels and the less strain the hoses, wiring, and driveline take. A fresh mount cuts that movement. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.

Installation is rated moderate, with about 2 hours of work listed. A wheel alignment is not required. To go with it on the Audi TT, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, and Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link.

Features

  • Grease: Molybdenum disulfide grease comes with it for a longer service life.
  • Bushing compound: The bushing material stands up to oil, grease, ozone, and weather.
  • Bushing material: Made of polyurethane, which resists deflection better than soft rubber.
  • Corrosion protection: The hardware is plated to stand up to road conditions.
  • Install guide: An install guide comes in the box.
  • Easy to fit: Installation does not call for special skills or tools.
