Product Details

This Whiteline Front Control Arm Lower Inner Rear Bushing (Anti-Lift/Caster) fits the 2005-2010 Volkswagen Passat. Whiteline part number: KCA316. Application note: Adds +0.5 degrees Caster + Anti-Lift. You receive 2 housings. Position: front.

A standard bushing only restores what the factory built. This one is designed to change the geometry, adding positive caster and changing front anti-dive behavior, in addition to resisting the deflection that soft rubber allows.

Installation is rated difficult, with about 2 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. To go with it on the Passat, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, and Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link.

Features

  • Caster: Caster is optimized for stable steering and good contact through roll.
  • Install guide: Whiteline packs an install guide with it.
  • Bushing material: Polyurethane bushings flex far less than rubber ones.
  • Grease: Supplied with molybdenum disulfide grease for extended service life.
  • Anodized alloy: An anodized coating protects the alloy from corrosion and wear.
  • Self-lubricating: Internal grease reservoirs keep the bushing lubricated as it works.
