This Whiteline Front Control Arm Lower Inner Rear Bushing (66.3mm OD) fits the 2001-2006 BMW 330i 3 Series. You receive 2 shell bushings and 2 bushings. It goes on the front of the vehicle. Application note: Standard Replacement. Whiteline part number: W52605. Chassis code: E46.
A control arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
