This Whiteline Front Control Arm Lower Inner Rear Bushing (60.3mm OD Incl. Housing) fits the 1999-2000 BMW 328i 3 Series. The kit contains 2 housings. Whiteline's note for this fit: Includes new housing. Whiteline part number: W53518. Placement: front.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
