This Whiteline Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front Bushing fits the 2011-2013 Kia Sportage. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Whiteline part number: W53492. Included: 4 bushings and 2 tubes.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Installation is rated difficult, with about 2.5 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward.
