Made to fit the 1993-2000 Subaru Impreza WRX L, the Front Strut Tower Brace from Whiteline. In the box: 1 strut brace and 6 washers. Application note: Mid Mount. The chassis code on the listing is GC/GF. It goes on the front of the vehicle. Part number KSB550.
Body panels flex slightly under load, and in a corner the tops of the front struts move toward and away from each other. This brace spans that gap, which stiffens the front of the chassis and lets the suspension do its job with fewer unwanted changes in geometry.
