This Whiteline Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit fits the 1997-1998 BMW 323i. Included: 2 sway bars, 4 links, 4 bushings, 4 brackets, 8 bolts, 18 washers, and 10 nuts. Application note: Includes BBF39Z and BBR38Z, Front sway bar fits vehicles with control arm end link mounting. Placement: front and rear. The part number is BBK001.
Body roll shifts load onto the outside tires, and a sway bar is the most direct way to limit it. Fitting stiffer bars at both ends keeps the platform flatter through a corner and lets the car turn in with less lean, and having a front and rear pair designed to work together keeps the balance predictable. The bar is adjustable, so the stiffness can be changed to suit the car and the road.
