Product Details

This Whiteline Front and Rear Panhard Rod Bushing Kit fits the 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ). In the box: 4 bushings, 2 tubes, and grease. This part is for the front and rear of the vehicle. Chassis code: YJ. Order it as part number W83489.

The Panhard rod, or track bar, keeps the axle centered side to side, and its bushings are where it pivots. Soft or worn rubber lets the axle move sideways under cornering load, which shows up as back end squirm.

Application note: Includes two complete bushing assemblies. Fits both front and rear panhard/track bars: to replace bushings in both front and rear bars two kits are required. Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 1 hour. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground.
