Product Details

This page covers the Whiteline Body Mount Bushing Kit for the 1991-1999 GMC K2500 (GMT400). The kit contains 12 bushings. Application note: Standard Cab Pickup. Part number W93490.

Body mounts are the cushions between the body and the frame, and they let the body shift slightly relative to the chassis. When the rubber collapses or tears, the body moves more than it should, which shows up as sloppy handling, clunks, and a loose feel over rough roads. A firmer bushing set holds the body in position. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
