This Whiteline Body Mount Bushing Kit fits the 1972-1974 Dodge W200 Pickup. You receive 12 bushings, 4 tubes, 12 washers, and grease. The part number is W93561. Application note: Crew, Extended or Standard cab.
Body mounts are the cushions between the body and the frame, and they let the body shift slightly relative to the chassis. When the rubber collapses or tears, the body moves more than it should, which shows up as sloppy handling, clunks, and a loose feel over rough roads. A firmer bushing set holds the body in position. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Expect a difficult job of about 5 hours. No alignment is needed afterward.
