This Whiteline Body Mount and Radiator Support Bushing Kit fits the 1979-1980 GMC K2500. Whiteline's note for this fit: Regular Cab. The kit contains 12 bushings, 2 bolts, and 6 washers. The part number is W93491.
Body mounts are the cushions between the body and the frame, and they let the body shift slightly relative to the chassis. When the rubber collapses or tears, the body moves more than it should, which shows up as sloppy handling, clunks, and a loose feel over rough roads. A firmer bushing set holds the body in position. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
