Product Details
This Whiteline Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link fits the 1999-2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Whiteline's note for this fit: Adjustable Extra Heavy Duty. The chassis code on the listing is NB. You receive 2 links. Whiteline part number: KLC144. Position: rear.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the rear sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. Because the length is adjustable, the link can be set on the car so the bar sits relaxed at rest, which matters most after a change in ride height.
Expect a moderate job of about 1 hour. A wheel alignment is not required. To go with it on the MX-5 Miata, see Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, Front Strut Tower Brace, and Front Strut Tower Brace Quick Release Kit.
Features
- Anodized alloy: The alloy is anodized, adding a durable protective layer.
- Construction: Made from strong, light alloy.
- Install guide: Step-by-step installation instructions come with it.
- Preload-free setup: The length can be set on the car to remove preload from the sway bar.
- Pre-greased: Pre-greased at the factory so it can be fitted right away.
- Rigid design: Taking the flex out of the connection makes the car react faster to steering input.
