Product Details

This Whiteline Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link fits the 2012-2019 Volkswagen Golf R. The kit contains 2 links. Application note: Adjustable Extra Heavy Duty. Part number KLC167A. This part is for the front of the vehicle.

The front sway bar can only do its job if its ends are tied firmly to the wheels, and the links make that connection. A loose or flexible link lets the body lean before the bar starts to push back, which is why worn links show up as a knock over bumps or a delayed feel at turn-in. Its adjustable body lets you set the length with the car on the ground, so the bar is not twisted against its own mounts before the car even moves.

Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 1 hour. It does not require a wheel alignment. Working on the same car? We also list Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, and Adjustable Sway Bar Vehicle Link Kit for the Golf R.

Features

  • Construction: The body is made from high-grade alloy for strength without added weight.
  • Install guide: Written install instructions are included with the part.
  • Pre-greased: Joints arrive pre-greased and ready to install.
  • Rigid design: Less flex than the original parts means a quicker, more direct response, especially in lane changes and at initial turn-in.
  • Ball joints: Steel ball joint ends are built for heavy loads and free movement.
  • Anodized alloy: The alloy carries an anodized finish for durability.
