This Whiteline 24mm Front Sway Bar Mount Bushing Kit fits the 2000-2004 Subaru Legacy. It goes on the front of the vehicle. The part number is W0405-24. The kit contains 2 bushings.
The sway bar sits in rubber bushings that let it rotate as it twists. When those bushings wear or compress, the bar slides and shifts in its mounts, which causes clunking and a slight delay before it begins to resist roll. Replacement bushings hold the bar in its proper place while still letting it turn.
