This Whiteline 24mm Front Sway Bar Bushing Kit fits the 1986-1988 BMW 325 (E30). This part is for the front of the vehicle. Whiteline's note for this fit: Suitable with Whiteline Swaybar BBF36X. Included: 2 bushings. Part number KSK010-24. It is listed for the E30 chassis.
The sway bar sits in rubber bushings that let it rotate as it twists. When those bushings wear or compress, the bar slides and shifts in its mounts, which causes clunking and a slight delay before it begins to resist roll. Replacement bushings hold the bar in its proper place while still letting it turn.
