This Whiteline 24mm Front Sway Bar Bushing Kit fits the 1984-1991 BMW 318i. Whiteline's note for this fit: Suitable with Whiteline Swaybar BBF36X. You receive 2 bushings. Position: front. Chassis code: E30. The part number is KSK010-24.
The sway bar sits in rubber bushings that let it rotate as it twists. When those bushings wear or compress, the bar slides and shifts in its mounts, which causes clunking and a slight delay before it begins to resist roll. Replacement bushings hold the bar in its proper place while still letting it turn.
