This Whiteline 2-Point Adjustable 24mm Rear Sway Bar Kit fits the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer (U15, 2nd-3rd gen). This part is for the rear of the vehicle. Whiteline part number: BFR99Z. Whiteline's note for this fit: Some vehicles may require additional adjustable end links to fit.
Body roll shifts load onto the outside tires, and a sway bar is the most direct way to limit it. Fitting stiffer bars at both ends keeps the platform flatter through a corner and lets the car turn in with less lean, and having a front and rear pair designed to work together keeps the balance predictable. The bar is adjustable, so the stiffness can be changed to suit the car and the road.
Expect a moderate job of about 1 hour. A wheel alignment is not required.
