This Whiteline 2-Point Adjustable 22mm Front Sway Bar fits the 2004-2009 Subaru Legacy. Application note: Non Turbo 2 Point Adjustable. Whiteline part number: BSF35Z. This part is for the front of the vehicle. In the box: 1 sway bar, 2 bushings, and 2 lateral locks.
A sway bar is a torsion spring that links the left and right wheels. When the body leans, the bar twists and resists, which keeps the car flatter and spreads load more evenly across the tires. In general, a stiffer front bar reduces roll and helps the nose stay planted, with a tendency toward understeer if it is overdone. Adjustable mounting points let you step the stiffness up or down without changing the bar.
