Product Details

Vogtland Lowering Springs for your 1996-2003 Audi A3 1.6, 1.8L (8L) are manufactured in Germany and are designed to improve the vehicle's appearance, ride quality and performance. The compound spring rate allows for a comfortable sporty ride under normal driving conditions and then maximum performance when being pushed to the limit.

Derived from racing, Vogtland springs are state of the art design, and offer linear and progressive spring rates calibrated specifically for each specific car model. With these custom designs you can rest assured that you will have balance between performance and comfort. You will visually and physically experience your car in a whole new way.

Vogtland springs are TUV tested OEM quality and carry a limited lifetime warranty. Springs are produced using special oil tempered spring steels of high tensile strength chrome-silicon and chrome-silicon-vanadium alloys using the cold coiling process. This achieves low spring weight with high material strength and the desired effect of uniformly reducing the un-spring weight of the vehicle, thereby optimizing the handling characteristics.

Fitment Note 1 The measure of the lowering will be reduced by the measure of the original sport suspension.
Fitment Note 2 Wedge form: The lowering of the front axle depends from the equipment and weight of the engine.
Fitment Note 3 Excludes 4 wheel drive.
Fitment Note 4 Shorter sport shocks are required. The VOGTLAND suspension kits are covered with these shocks.
Fitment Note 5 All wheel/tire combinations are allowed which are released by the wheel type testing institution. The conditions in the wheel approval have to be kept, except when original suspension is required.
Fitment Note 6 Due to vehicle-specific tolerances a contact between the drive shaft and the anti-roll bar might occur. In such case it is required to install a modified anti-roll bar. For Coilover Sets use Order-No. 968 550 000 (Anti-roll bar conversion set without Xenon headlights). For Suspension Kits use a longer steering rod from your VW/Audi dealer.
