The TEIN FS2 Coilover Kit to your 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range / Plus RWD is an advanced, high-performance suspension designed for drivers who demand both comfort and control. It features a twin-tube damper with external reservoirs, which boosts oil capacity and improves thermal dissipation for greater stability under hard driving. The FS2 offers 2-way damping adjustment: 16 levels of simultaneous compression/rebound tuning plus 16 more for compression only, allowing very fine control. It also uses TEIN’s Hydraulic Bump Stopper (H.B.S.) to convert hard impacts into heat, reducing harsh rebound and improving ride comfort, even during heavy loads. Ride height is adjustable via a threaded lower spring seat, and lower mounts include camber-adjustable brackets to dial in alignment. Upper mounts are included (pillow-ball or reinforced rubber, depending on vehicle), and for some models, there are eccentric sleeves for additional camber adjustment.
The FS2 is fully serviceable, with overhaul and revalving options available to customize or refresh its performance. It’s also compatible with TEIN’s EDFC electronic damping controller, letting you adjust damping from inside the car. Durability is a strong point: the kit uses no-sag SAE9254 steel springs, a corrosion-resistant ZTP coating plus TEIN-green powder-coat, and a robust dust boot. High-performance damper oil resists foaming, maintains stable viscosity across temps, and helps the suspension feel consistent - even in demanding driving conditions.
