Product Details

The Stance XR1 coilovers for the 1995-1998 Nissan 240SX (S14) are the single-way adjustable, daily-driveable Stance coilovers built for owners who want one suspension setup that handles the commute, the canyon, and the occasional track day. Every Stance Suspension XR1 kit is dyno-tested at the Stance facility in Texas and shipped ready to install on your S14 Nissan 240SX — including dialed-in spring rates, fully adjustable damping, and independent ride-height adjustment on coilover bodies engineered specifically for the 1995-1998 Nissan 240SX.

The XR1 line replaces Stance's older Super Sport coilovers with stronger materials, a wider damping adjustment range, and Stance's most durable corrosion-resistant coating to date. Whether you're lowering a 1995-1998 Nissan 240SX for the look or chasing lap times at your local track, the Stance XR1 coilovers give you a 100% rebuildable, revalvable suspension platform that grows with your build — serviceable and upgradeable at the Stance Suspension shop for the life of the vehicle.

Looking to lower your S14 Nissan 240SX on a set of adjustable Stance coilovers? The Stance XR1 coilovers drop the S14 chassis to a tunable ride height while keeping your factory suspension geometry intact. Spring rates and damping are pre-tuned for the S14 Nissan 240SX chassis so the coilovers bolt onto your 1995-1998 Nissan 240SX ready to install. Independent ride-height and damping adjustment let you fine-tune the lowered stance, or dial the chassis in for autocross, track, or daily driving on your S14 Nissan 240SX.

16 Levels of Damping Adjustment

The Stance damping clicker gives a positive, audible click for each of the 16 levels of damping adjustment, so you can dial the ride from compliant street settings to firm track settings without losing your reference point. Each corner adjusts independently for precise chassis balance.

Inverted Monotube Damper

Originally developed for professional motorsports, the inverted monotube design uses a 45mm strut shaft for far greater lateral rigidity than competitors' 20mm upright dampers. Less shaft flex means consistent damping under heavy load, longer seal life, and exceptional ride comfort without sacrificing track performance.

Digressive Damping

Digressive valving produces high damping forces at low shaft velocities for sharp chassis control, and softer forces at high shaft velocities to absorb big bumps without unsettling the car. The result: better feel on transitions, more grip on rough surfaces.

Two-Stage Corrosion-Resistant Coating

Damper bodies are finished with a zinc phosphate pre-treatment plus an electrodeposited polymer coating engineered specifically for Stance coilovers. The finish has cleared 1,000+ hours of salt-spray testing — Stance's most durable corrosion protection to date.

Rebuildable & Revalvable for Life

Stance XR1 coilovers are 100% rebuildable and revalvable. As your driving evolves from street to track, send the same hardware back to Stance's Texas facility for service or custom valving. Buy once, upgrade as you grow.
