The Bilstein B6 shocks sharpen the 2015-2016 BMW 228i RWD/AWD without touching its ride height. Firmer, more tightly controlled damping on the factory springs, so the car settles faster and stays flatter through a corner.
The B6 Performance is a performance upgrade over the factory damper that works with the factory springs. Valving is set for each application, and every damper is tested to meet or exceed original equipment standards.
The monotube design is what sets Bilstein apart. A single high-pressure gas chamber keeps the oil from aerating, so the damping stays consistent on a rough road instead of fading as the unit heats up.
