The Bilstein B4 shocks for the 2008-2014 Mercedes-Benz C300 (W204) is the part you fit when you want the car to feel like it did when it was new, not louder or firmer, just properly controlled again.

The monotube design is what sets Bilstein apart. A single high-pressure gas chamber keeps the oil from aerating, so the damping stays consistent on a rough road instead of fading as the unit heats up.
