More Information

Product Details

This Studio RSR roll bar fits the 1999-2006 BMW 3 Series Coupe (E46).

The Studio RSR bolt-in roll bar for the 1999-2006 BMW 3 Series Coupe stiffens your chassis where it matters most, giving you sharper, more confident handling on track and a serious step up in occupant protection for HPDE, time attack, and weekend racing. It is engineered specifically for the 3 Series Coupe, so it follows the lines of the interior and bolts to the car's factory mounting points for a tight, purpose-built fit.

Designed and built in-house in the USA, every 3 Series Coupe four-point structure uses wide-radius mandrel bends and CNC-machined interlocking clamps for a clean, race-grade look and a precise, repeatable install. It installs without cutting or welding, so your interior stays clean and the bar can come back out if you ever sell the car. Choose DOM mild steel or lightweight 4130 chromoly, finished in your choice of powdercoat color at no extra cost.

Features

  • 100% bolt-in 4-point half-cage — no welding or drilling required
  • Engineered to the car's factory mounting points with form-fitted steel brackets
  • Wide-radius mandrel bends for even stress distribution — no crimping or tube-wall failure
  • Proprietary CNC-machined chromoly interlocking tubing clamps
  • Built to NASA road-racing geometry (per 2016.5 rulebook; not NASA-sanctioned)
  • Grade-8 mounting hardware and installation instructions included
  • Choice of DOM mild steel or lightweight 4130 chromoly tubing
  • Powdercoated in Black, White, Red, or Yellow at no additional cost
  • Ships as 2 main pieces for easier handling and install
  • Designed and manufactured 100% in the USA

Installation

This is a true bolt-in structure that mounts to the 3 Series Coupe's factory hard points — no welding, no drilling, and no cutting of the chassis. The interlocking tubing clamps let the bar go together inside the car and come apart again if needed, and all Grade-8 hardware plus step-by-step instructions are included. Professional installation is recommended.
