This Whiteline Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 2005-2006 Saab 9-2X. Whiteline's note for this fit: Bushing Service Kit Only to KTA108, KTA109 or KTA123. Included: 8 bushings and 8 tubes. Order it as part number W0595. Position: rear.
A control arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
