This Whiteline Rear Spring Eye and Shackle Bushing Kit fits the 1972-1977 Pontiac Ventura. This part is for the rear of the vehicle. Included: 12 bushings, 2 tubes, and grease. Part number W73822.
On a leaf-sprung vehicle the spring eyes and shackles pivot on bushings, and they take the movement every time the axle moves. Worn rubber lets the axle shift and clunk, and heavy loads speed that up. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
