Product Details
This Whiteline Front Strut Rod to Chassis Bushing Kit fits the 1968-1972 Plymouth Road Runner. It goes on the front of the vehicle. The part number is W56426. Included: 4 bushings, 2 tubes, and grease.
Braking pushes the wheel rearward, and that load goes through the strut rod and its bushings. Rubber that has compressed lets the control arm move more than it should, so a firmer bushing keeps the arm located under braking. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Expect a moderate job of about 1 hour. It does not require a wheel alignment. Working on the same car? We also list Front Sway Bar Link Kit and Front Bump Stop Bushing Kit for the Road Runner.
Features
- Bushing material: Made of polyurethane, which resists deflection better than soft rubber.
