Product Details

This Whiteline Front Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 1975-1976 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. Placement: front. The part number is W56430. The kit contains 8 shell bushings, 8 tubes, and grease.

Bushings work out of sight, but they decide how well a suspension holds its geometry. A soft or tired control arm bushing allows play that shows up as vague steering, a wandering feel under braking, or a clunk over bumps. Fitting a firmer one takes that slack out. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.

Installation is rated difficult, with about 3 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward.
