This Whiteline Front Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 2006 Lincoln Zephyr. Part number W53396. Included: 4 bushings and 2 tubes. Placement: front.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Expect a difficult job of about 2.5 hours. An alignment is required after installation. To go with it on the Zephyr, see Front Sway Bar Link and Rear Sway Bar Link (80-320mm Length).
