What are coilovers?
Coilovers (derived from coil spring over shock) are an aftermarket suspension product that allows the ride height of a car to be adjusted (generally lower) along with its performance and handling characteristics. These may include damping (rebound/compression), camber, and more. When a car is lowered, so is its center of gravity which improves handling. This reduces the weight transfer when turning, braking, and accelerating. Coilover kits and vehicle shock absorbers allow the ride height to be adjusted through the shock body or strut, not the spring, retaining great ride quality. Lastly, coilovers improve the look of your vehicle by reducing wheel gap and making your car's stance look sportier and more aggressive.
