KONI products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty for the original retail purchaser against defects in materials, workmanship, and premature wear when used under normal street-driving conditions. Warranty coverage applies for as long as the original owner owns the vehicle on which the KONI product was originally installed and requires proof of purchase and vehicle registration. The warranty does not cover improper installation, racing or competition use, off-road use, misuse, accidents, or applications outside of KONI’s intended specifications.

KONI Special Active shocks for the 1997-2005 Volvo C70 use KONI's patented Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to deliver two damping curves in one fixed shock: soft for low-frequency road inputs (comfort) and firm for high-frequency body motion (control). The result is a daily driver that feels composed without compromising ride quality.

FSD reacts to the road, not to a driver setting, so there's nothing to adjust and nothing to wear out. Special Active works with stock springs or factory-spec lowering springs up to ~35 mm of drop, and is built on KONI's long-life twin-tube platform with the lifetime warranty on workmanship.
