Developed over nine years since the MAX IV SP, the Hipermax R pairs an inverted monotube damper with HKS's exclusive Super Response Fluid (SRF) and Low Vibration Spring (LVS) to sharpen steering response, flatten cornering attitude, and hold damping consistent even after repeated heat cycles.

30-level damping adjustment, length-adjustable shock bodies, and pillowball upper mounts let you dial in the Subaru BRZ for track sessions or daily commuting without swapping components. Every Hipermax R kit is built in Japan, backed by a 2-year / 40,000 km warranty, and fully rebuildable — the flagship HKS coilover for drivers who refuse to compromise between circuit pace and street civility.
