The Cusco Sport G (Gravel) Coilovers for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX STI (VAF) are competition-grade monotube coilovers custom built to order for gravel rally and loose-surface motorsport. Designed for the VAF STI AWD platform, these Cusco coilovers feature 24-level rebound damping adjustment, gravel-specification valving, and rear pillow ball mounts for precise rear axle location under unpredictable lateral loads.
Gravel rally destroys conventionally-valved coilovers, and the Sport G addresses that with longer stroke lengths and valving optimized for the high-frequency impacts of dirt and loose surfaces. Springs are sold separately so teams can swap rates between events based on stage conditions. The VAF STI's symmetrical AWD system handles loose-surface forces differently than tarmac, and the gravel specification accounts for those demands. Custom built-to-order with a 10-12 week lead time.
