At 23.79 in. extended: The Bilstein SNS2 Series shock absorber is a universal-fit part, chosen on collapsed and extended length rather than a year-make-model lookup. Fabricators, restorers, and race teams buy these to suit a custom setup.

Inside is Bilstein's monotube design, gas and oil separated by a floating piston. That is what keeps the damping honest when the surface turns rough and the temperature climbs.
