The Bilstein B8 strut cartridges are built for a 1970-1976 Porsche 914 that is already lowered. Shorter bodies and firmer valving matched to aftermarket springs, so a dropped car rides properly instead of crashing.
Bilstein invented the monotube gas damper and has been building suspension in Germany since 1954. Every unit is built to the same standard the company supplies to the manufacturers themselves, and it is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
